What strikes you in this scripture?
"Tselem" is the Hebrew word used to describe the image of God. We are all created to reflect God.
In Genesis 2:7 we read that God blew his life-giving breath (“neshomah” in Hebrew) into us – this breath is the ability that God gives each one of us to be a co-creator with Him.
This does, however, require us to surrender everything we have to God.
Read 2 Kings 4:1-7
The widow was obedient. She literally poured out all she had.
In Matthew 14:17 we read of a boy who gave Jesus all five of his loaves of bread and both his fish.
What is stopping you from giving God your everything?
What are you scared of?
What do you have that you can give to God?
John 15:5-6 teaches us how to surrender everything to God.
What are you currently rooted in?
One of the most difficult prayers is, “Prune me, oh Lord.”
“Lord, I surrender everything, everything to You …”
When you surrender, God will be faithful … think of Matthew 14:7 and 2 Kings 4:1-7.
